This demonstration workshop aims to introduce potters to brush-on glazes. We begin with a brief introduction to the nature of glaze and types of glazes, followed by the preparation of works for glazing and tools for the process. The primary focus will be on the application of glazes, glaze colors and combinations, using Amaco and Coyote glazes in particular. Examples of glazed works will be presented to highlight what can be achieved with brush-on glazes on various clay types.
